We've been included in another Houzz feature, this one discussing the idea of leaning art.  The photo is from our Carroll St. Project, here in the Bay Area.

Marin Designer Showcase

This year's Marin Designer Showcase is open, and it's quite the property. 15,500 square feet on the tip of Belvedere Island - some of the most sought after real estate in the world, with incomparable views... and a $45 Million price tag. I had the pleasure of helping a colleague, Gioi Tran, on his Master Bedroom, and I the finished space is beautiful. If you're in the SF Bay Area, the house is open through February 26th. Links to the Showcase and property follow.

I've long been a fan of architect Stanley Saitowitz, based in San Francisco. His "Bridge House" in San Anselmo is striking: situated across a ravine, the house is a 22' wide, two story continuous span. Cor-Ten steel plate clad the walls and roof - I love the juxtaposition between the steel & glass structurewith and the wooded grasslands on the 15 acre site.

We've just come off of our HGTV "Room Crashers" shoot, and I wanted to share a few photos of the experience. What a fun, chaotic, and exhausting 3 days! I assumed with reality TV "3 days" meant something else...but we did complete the transformation from start to finish in just under 3 days. The production team was fantastic, the construction team from Farallon was amazing, and the home owners were enthusiastic participants. It was quite rewarding to see our design come to life in such a short time. I'm sorry I can't show the final photos until the episode airs in February, but I will certainly keep everyone posted. I can only tell you the producers, host, and crew loved the space, and the home owners are thrilled!
